Stone Academy has a very active and supportive LSC.
The LSC is established by state law. It is made up of:
- six parent representatives,
- two faculty representatives,
- two community representatives and
- the principal.
It has three functions:
1- the appointment and evaluation of the principal,
2- the allocation of State Chapter I monies for the budget and
3- the approval of a school improvement plan.
The Stone LSC has also been involved in fund-raising for the school.
